UNH Faculty Concert Series presents Christopher Kies on piano April 24
 
The UNH Department of Music Faculty Concert Series presents Christopher Kies, piano, in concert on Sunday, April 24, at 8 p.m. in the Johnson Theatre of the Paul Creative Arts Center on the Durham campus.

Professor Kies will be joined by UNH faculty member and oboist Margaret Herley in a performance of Francis Poulenc’s "Sonata for Oboe and Piano." Janet Polk, UNH faculty member and bassoonist, will join Kies for a performance of Kies’ own composition, "Sonata for Bassoon and Piano (in memory of Francis Poulenc)." "Variations and Fugue on a Theme by Handel" by Johannes Brahms concludes the program.
