UNH and Durham flushing water mains
UNH and the Town of Durham will be flushing community water
mains April 25 to May 6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be no
flushing during the weekend hours. Water main flushing is necessary
to eliminate built-up of sediment in the water mains. These procedures
stir up sediment, so some discoloration of the water may occur;
however, the water remains safe for drinking. Info: Facilities Support
