Staff grant deadline is Sept. 8
The next application deadline for the UNH Staff Professional Development Grant is Sept. 8. The maximum award is $750.  No more than one grant will be awarded per person during a 12-month period. The Staff Professional Development Grant Program provides the opportunity for EE, OS, and PAT staff to attain new skills or knowledge in a manner that will enhance a staff member's performance or eligibility for promotion and be of specific benefit to the department, college, university and/or university system. Such opportunities might include conferences, workshops and seminars, both on and off campus; academic courses not offered within the university system; travel and accommodations for off campus courses, workshops; and special projects, including but not limited to research and publication.

UNH Ready To Assist New Hampshire Students On Space-Available Basis
UNH will grant non-degree admission to students who were enrolled in colleges and universities closed because of Hurricane Katrina. Courses are available on a space-available basis and students will work with an advisor in the University Advising and Career Center or one of our schools and colleges prior to registration to ensure that courses are appropriate based on both prior coursework and readiness for those courses. President Delivers 2005 State Of The University Address
UNH brought in more than $108 million in sponsored grants and contracts last year, an increase of more than 15 percent over the previous year and an amount that doesn’t even include UNH’s recent $38 million NASA grant.
