W-4 and change of address forms are now at HR
Effective April 12, the Payroll Office assumed the responsibility of coding all W-4 forms. These forms should be sent to their attention at 1 Leavitt Lane. This change will require that a change of permanent address be communicated to the Office of Human Resources by completing the Change of Name and/or Permanent Mailing Address Form. This form can be found on the HR Web site at http://www.unh.edu/hr/pubs-frm.htm. You will need to click on “Other Forms” which will take you to the form. Forms also are available at Human Resources, 2 Leavitt Lane.

Celebrate with Carol French
Friends of Carol French, educational assistant in the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences, are invited to a reception in her honor from 3 to 5 p.m., Wednesday, May 19, in the Squamscott Room of Holloway Commons. Carol is retiring May 28 after 39 years of service.

May is better speech and hearing month
In recognition of Better Speech and Hearing Month the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department will be offering free speech and/or hearing screenings. UNH Speech, Language and Hearing Center, First Floor Room 180, Hewitt Hall. The screenings are Wednesday, May 5, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Call 2-2110 for an appointment.

Celebration for Mennel is May 4
Please join us Tuesday, May 4, for a celebration of Bob Mennel’s service as director of the University Honors Program. New online journal is accepting submissions
INQUIRY, the UNH online journal of undergraduate research, is open for business. Faculty members are asked to encourage students to submit articles about their research and creative projects, as well as commentaries and letters to the editor. The inaugural edition will appear early next year. Faculty and students alike are needed to participate in the promotion, editing, and production of INQUIRY. Deadline for submission of research articles and research briefs is June 1. Banner Student system usernames are changing
Usernames for Banner Student system users will change in May. Banner Student system users will receive their new username and password in early May. The conversion will occur May 15-16. Starting Monday, May 17, users must log into Banner Student with their new username and password. More information will be available as the conversion gets closer. This change does not affect Banner Finance/HR users.
