Banner
Student system usernames are changing
Usernames for Banner Student system users will change in May. Currently,
users log into Banner Student with a username that begins with ‘OPS$’.
Usernames will be converted in May to use a new standard that no
longer uses the OPS$ prefix. This conversion brings the Banner Student
system user community one step closer to CIS’ goal of using
a common format for user accounts. Banner Student system users will
receive their new username in a letter in early May. A second letter
will be sent approximately a week later with a new password. The
conversion will occur over the weekend of May 15-16. Starting Monday,
May 17, users must log into Banner Student with their new username
and password. More information will be available as the conversion
gets closer. This change does not affect Banner Finance/HR users.
