News
The 'News' module is a mobile-friendly version of the UNH Media Relations website (www.unh.edu/news). It was produced by New & Emerging Media on behalf of the UNH News Office.
The module features an at-a-glance news feed that highlights internal press releases created within the last two weeks. Both the site menu, as well as teasers and image thumbnails, can be toggled with the tap of a button. 'Read More' links transport users to the actual news story. Users also have the ability to search the news archive, download hi-res press photos, and view the faculty expert list.
xDining Menu
This is a mobile web application developed by Aurora Information Systems on behalf of UNH Dining. It was recently restyled and enhanced by New & Emerging Media. The menu module provides a 10-day forecast for UNH's three main dining halls: Stillings, Philbrook and Holloway.
The menus are broken down by individual meal, its recipe, and complete nutritional report. Users can select dishes to plan a meal according to a specific diet, and view their meal's subsequent nutritional breakdown.
The web application can be viewed online at foodpro.unh.edu/fpmobile.
xCourses
The ‘Courses’ module enables you to search the UNH and UNHM course catalogs. Fall, spring, summer and J-Term courses are represented; courses are categorized by category, but can be broken down by Online, General Education, or Discovery.
The bookmark feature allows users to keep track of courses of interest.
xBlackboard Learn
The ‘Bb Learn’ Module is a link to the Blackboard Mobile Learn application. The Bb Learn app is not packaged and shipped with the UNH Mobile app; it needs to be downloaded separately from Google Play in order run within the UNH portal shell.

xAthletics
The ‘Athletics’ module features Wildcat news, providing instant access to University of New Hampshire Athletics headlines, as well as up-to-the-minute scores, live stats, audio streaming, schedules, team information, rosters, TV/radio, and more!
xSocial Media
The ‘Social Media’ module is a link to the mobile version of the UNH Social Media website: www.unh.edu/social.
The module features a collective list of affiliated groups within the social media channels supported by UNH, including: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Foursquare, Instagram and Flickr. The information is updated on a regular basis as new groups and pages are created and added to the list. In addition to providing guidelines for proper use of social media at UNH, the module also contains a link to the UNH student blog site UNH Tales and the alumni network 'Wildcat World'.
xComputer Labs
The ‘Computer Labs’ module features real-time computer availability among labs across campus. For each listed lab, the module reports how many computers are currently available; and specifies whether they are Mac or PC. The module integrates with your device’s map to display building locations, and provide directions by foot, bike or car.
xDirectory
The ‘Directory’ module enables search of the UNH student and employee directory. The student search requires Blackboard authentication and authorization; employee search does not require login.
Student directory information is updated from the UNH student database every weekday, Monday through Friday. New and updated information is included after registration has been confirmed. Employee directory information is updated from the USNH central personnel database every weekday, Monday through Friday.
xMap
The ‘Map’ module is similar to the original ‘Campus Map’ application developed in 2010. It includes a “places” feature in which buildings and places grouped by category (Academic, Athletics/Recreation, Landmarks, etc). This is also a ‘bookmark’ capability enabling the user to keep track of notable locations.
You can search by building name, academic program, or keyword, to discover UNH. The GPS/WiFi integration enables the app to detect your location and provide driving, walking or biking directions to your next destination. The module also displays UNH landmarks and notable points of interest.
xTransit
The ‘Transit’ module displays schedules for Campus Connector and Wildcat Transit, with full route information. The data integrates with your device's onboard map to pinpoint the locations of bus stops.
In addition to providing directions to UNH (via bus, train, car and boat), the module also shows up-to-date information about vacation schedules, exceptions, late-night services, and more.
xGet Help
The ‘Get Help’ module displays emergency contacts including UNH Police, Durham Police, Campus Health Services and the IT service desk.
xVideos
The ‘Videos’ module contains a list of playlists and videos from the official UNH YouTube channel “UNHVideo”. The module also features the ability to bookmark videos to essentially create your own playlist. You can also search for videos and playlists that exist within the UNHVideo channel.
xAugmented Reality
The ‘Augmented Reality’ module is a location-based feature that harness your device’s GPS capabilities to provide information about campus buildings and landmarks. The information provided leverages UNH Map info (same info about places and buildings as Map module uses), Wikipedia information, and Twitter.
xWUNH 91.3FM
The ‘WUNH’ module makes use of onboard media-streaming services to enable livestream of WUNH 91.3FM. The module interface also indicates which program is on air.
xVirtual Tour
The ‘Virtual Tour’ module is the mobile version of the Virtual Tour website: www.unh.edu/virtualtour, produced by University Communications and Marketing. The tour breaks into six distinct sections: Campus, Academics, Recreation, Housing & Dining, Student Life and Beyond Campus. It was recently optimized for mobile display featuring a swipe-enabled slideshow, with video / photo toggle view options.
xEvents
The ‘Events’ module links to the ‘events’ portal website optimized for mobile display. It should feature event icons that link to external pages hosted within the unh.edu domain. Featured events are public and open to the community at large.
xWildcat Link
The ‘Wildcat Link’ module is the mobile version of the Wildcat Link website: wildcatlink.unh.edu.
‘Wildcat Link’ serves as a resource for student organizations at UNH, featuring an updated event listing and a student org directory with searchable fields.
xNow Available for Android Devices!
The UNH Mobile Application Suite (v1.0) was developed as a collaborative effort between members of Information Technology and New & Emerging Media.
The app was released for Android devices on December 21, 2012. The iOS (iPod, iPhone, iPad) version is in development, with an intended release in early March.
The app features eighteen modules with a customizable home screen (springboard personalization) enabling users to hide, show and reorder icons to their preference. Six of the modules link directly to operational websites within the UNH domain, leveraging the device's built-in browser. The other twelve modules are built and constructed to live within the app suite.
