The New and Emerging Media (NEM) division of University Communications and Marketing (UCM), provides strategic and tactical leadership in all digital media to University partners and clients. We work in close collaboration with Media Relations, Video Production Services, Photographic Services, Editorial and Creative Services, UNH IT, UNH Foundation, Alumni Communications, UNH Admissions, and other units across campus to deliver solutions within web, mobile and social media environments.
With assistance of the UNH Web Team, New & Emerging Media defines web styles and provides guidelines for best practices including design specifications, search engine optimization (SEO), content creation, formatting and compatibility, user experience, and ADA accessibility. NEM is also responsible for the maintenance of numerous websites within the UNH domain and all official social media channels at UNH. We also provide consulting for social media best practices, multimedia presentations and content enhancement.
