Dr. Serita Frey recently received a National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Award to integrate her research, teaching and outreach activities over the next five years. The research portion of this project will examine how soil warming and nitrogen deposition interact to influence microbial metabolism and soil carbon storage. An outreach program will also be developed for the State of New Hampshire to provide accessible information to the general public on the goods and services that ecosystems provide and how global change may be altering the ability of ecosystems to sustainably provide these goods and services. Congratulations Serita! |
