Story:

Drs. David Burdick, George Hurtt, and Barry Rock are three of 21 UNH professors who were selected as nominees to participate in an innovative program entitled "UNH Outreach Scholars". The program is designed for scholars at UNH who have a strong research agenda and/or funded research that involves broader audiences.

Nominees will have a chance to network with fellow colleagues and learn more about outreach scholarship in the areas of marine sciences, science education, mathematics education, engineering education, health and social sciences from nationally known experts and each other. In addition, program officers from a number of federal agencies and foundations will be invited to interact and work with nominees.
