Stephanie Todd Food Service Manager
Stephanie grew up in New Zealand. She trained in Hamilton, at the Waikato Polytechnic and gained a London City and Guilds Chef's qualifications. Following completion of her training, Stephanie worked at a number of hotels and restaurants throughout New Zealand. For three years, she worked on the family mussel farm at Waimangu Point, north of EcoQuest. Stephanie's other experiences include working in an organic orchard and vegetable garden.
Stephanie is in charge of all catering operations at EcoQuest. She plans the menus, organizes delivery of supplies, prepares food on-site and caters for all day trips, extended field trips and EcoQuest functions. She is in charge of training and supervising assistant staff in the kitchen. When required, Stephanie teaches the students about nutrition and healthy eating. In her role as administrative support, Stephanie deals with day-to-day accounts and she assists with the preparation of teaching resources. Together with Sally and Ria, Stephanie manages the EcoQuest garden.
