Elizabeth Jones Field Leader

Elizabeth was raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She attended the University of New Hampshire, where she earned a B.S. in environmental science with a minor in water resource management. Elizabeth's university experiences include spending one semester enrolled in the EcoQuest New Zealand program during the fall semester of 2000 and studying at the American University of Cairo in Egypt, where she took a course on the Environmental Biology of the Red Sea. In addition, she has worked for the New Hampshire Office of State Planning's Coastal Program where she assisted with salt marsh inventories, riparian zone management, and conservation education. She began her EcoQuest work experience at the University of New Hampshire as an Admissions Assistant.

After working as an intern for a year, and as an assistant field leader for a year at EcoQuest in New Zealand, Elizabeth is now a field leader. In this role, Elizabeth provides logistical support and shares the responsibility to ensure the safety and smooth running of field exercises, extended field trips, and Directed Research Projects.
