Durham – The University of New Hampshire Department of Music presents a concert of sacred choral music performed by the UNH Chamber Singers, under the direction of William Kempster on Sunday evening, Nov. 22, 2009 beginning at 8pm in the Johnson Theatre of the Paul Creative Arts Center on the Durham campus.

The program includes Pierre de la Rue’s “Salve mater salvatoris,” Josquin’s “Planxit autem David,” Clemens non Papa’s “Ego flos campi,” and Byrd’s “Ne irascaris Domine.” In contrast is Edvard Grieg’s last completed work, the “Fire Salmer,” Op. 74, featuring baritone soloist Dustin Lindsay.
