Satyrs and Fauns: [BI London 1740] Bickham, George, Jr. (1710/15?-1758). "The Bacchanalian's Wish," from The Musical Entertainer, vol. II. London 1740. p. 3. engraving. Includes a satyr child sitting on a floating barrel, blowing a ribbed shell horn from which wine (I presume) emerges. A sort of live fountain figure. There is also a little trophy with a trumpet and poorly depicted violin and 1-1/2 circle coiled horn. (Facsimile: New York 1965)
