Les is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music and studied extensively with Alan
Dawson. He is currently a lecturer in music at UNH where he teaches drum set and is a
member of the UNH Faculty Jazz Sextet. From 1983-1995, he was the
drummer for the jazz vocal group "The Ritz", with performances worldwide and
seven recordings for the Pausa and Denon labels. Les has also toured with the Artie
Shaw Orchestra, performed with Clark Terry, Diana Krall, Scott Hamilton and Gray Sargent
and is a busy side-man throughout New England He is also the drum-set instructor at
