David Ripley, bass-baritone, is widely heard in oratorio, recital, chamber opera and in
early and contemporary music programs. He is an honors graduate of Harvard College (B.A)
and the New England Conservatory of Music (M.M.). In his performances throughout the US he
has been soloist with the Boston Camerata, Waverly Consort, Boston Baroque, Boston
Cecilia, Cantata Singers, and others, as well as performing in leading roles in many new
operatic works. Prof. Ripley is an assistant professor of music at UNH. His main area of
teaching is voice with secondary areas of music literature and choral conducting. Prof.
