Expo Vendor Policies

Vendor Policy Overview

  • All vendors must be current UNH Students, Faculty, or Staff
  • Alumni and retired faculty/staff are not eligible to participate
  • When sharing tables or booths, all vendors must be identified/registered
  • No more than two vendors are permitted to share one table
  • No more than three vendors are permitted to share one booth
  • UNH Maker/Vendor must be present for at least 50% of the open Expo time but can have another individual "cover" their table for up to 50% of the open Expo time.
  • Participating as a vendor at the Makers Expo does not count as work for UNH Employees unless you are staffing a table for a UNH department that is registered as a vendor. If you are particpating as an individual, all applicable UNH and USNH earned time/vacation time policies apply.
  • All tables, booths must be "open" and selling during all open Expo hours
  • No alcohol, tobacco or drug paraphernalia or other items deemed inappropriate for student market are permitted to be offered for sale
  • No products with unauthorized use of UNH Logo are permitted to be offered for sale
  • All vendors must be selling tangible products. No "display only" or "service" products unless the service is being conducted on site. For example: face painting, henna hands, or massages would be considered acceptable as sales items. 
  • UNH/Memorial Union & Student Activities is not responsible for safety and security of vendor product. We encourage participants to procure their own insurance if they have concerns. 
  • Memorial Union & Student Activities reserves the right to determine eligibility
  • Refunds for canceled reservations only available until 14 days prior to event. No refunds after November 17, 2017.

Food Vendor Policies

  • Foods that qualify as non-hazardous homstead food operations do not need licensing as long as they meet state requirements, including proper labeling.  and have proper labeling as required by the state.
  • All other food would need a Food Service License from the state of NH (unless they are licenced by a self-inspecting city/town). See state rules here. You will be asked to provide your licensing information.

Table (30"x72")

$20.00 for UNH Students, Grad Students, Recognized Student Organizations
$35.00 for UNH Faculty/Staff, UNH Departments
Price includes table and two chairs. It does not include additional floor space for display.
Up to 2 vendors can share a table space.

Booth Space (10'x10'), no electricity

$40.00 for UNH Students, Grad Students, Recognized Student Organizations
$60.00 for UNH Faculty/Staff, UNH Departments
Price includes 2 tables and 4 chairs in an 10'x10' space.
Up to 3 different vendors can share a booth space.

Booth Space (10'x10'), electricity

$45.00 for UNH Students, Grad Students, Recognized Student Organizations
$65.00 for UNH Faculty/Staff, UNH Departments
Price includes 2 tables and 4 chairs in an 10'x10' space with access to one electrical outlet.
Up to 3 different vendors can share a booth space.
