Collection
The Museum of Art cares for a permanent collection of 1,500 works of art, including paintings, drawings, prints, photography, ceramics, and sculpture. The collection emphasizes nineteenth- and twentieth-century prints and drawings and includes nearly two hundred Japanese woodblock prints. Annual exhibitions feature works from the permanent collection.
The Museum of Art's collections and a few of the donors who have given works of art were featured in the Fall 2004 issue of the University of New Hampshire Magazine. You can view the pages (26 to 31) at the magazine's website:http://unhmagazine.unh.edu/A complete list of works in the permanent collection is available for viewing.
