On View at the Paul Creative Arts Center

Currently on view near Johnson Theatre at the Paul Creative Arts Center is this full-size steel and epoxy 2009 sculpture, Caribou (Ihumataq), by artist Wendy Klemperer.

Klemperer teaches welded sculpture at 3rd Ward in Brooklyn, NY, and the Carving Studio and Sculpture Ctr in West Rutland VT. She lives in Brooklyn, NY and Nelson, NH.

Special Tours Offered

For educators and group tour coordinators, a special introductory tour of the current exhibition, Sacred Landscapes of Peru: The Photographs of Carl Austin Hyatt, is being offered in Spanish. The tour was written and developed by Museum of Art docent Stephen M. Martin and fellowship student Hillary Schwartz. To schedule a tour, call Catherine A. The Museum of Art is New Hampshire Seacoast's premier art museum -- a center for the visual arts where visitors gather to enjoy changing exhibitions, music, lectures, poetry readings, and receptions. Its permanent collection includes over 1,600 historical and modern works by American, European, and other artists from diverse cultures.

Located at 30 Academic Way, in the Paul Creative Arts Center on the Durham campus of the University of New Hampshire, the museum welcomes visitors throughout the academic year and is open to students, faculty, members, and the general public free of charge. Recent Events
