Directions To UNH Campus

By Car

Durham is located on U.S. Route 4, a major east-west highway, linking Portsmouth and Concord, NH. Travelers coming from southern New England, as well as those coming from Maine, should follow Interstate 95 to its intersection with Route 4 at Portsmouth. Whether you approach Durham from the east or the west on Route 4, exit at state road 155A and turn east toward Durham. Follow 155A through a short stretch of fields to the UNH Campus. Past the tennis courts on the right, and over the railroad overpass.

From Boston/Hampton:
Take I-95 North to Exit 4 ("NH Lakes and Mountains, Spaulding Turnpike"), continue to Exit 6W & Follow Route 4 West past the UNH/Durham Route 108 Exit. Exit at Route 155A and turn left toward Durham. Follow 155A through a short stretch of fields to the UNH Campus.

From Concord/North or South off I-93:
Take Exit 15E to Route 393 East connecting to Route 4 East. Continue on Route 4 to Exit Route 155A turning right toward Durham. Follow 155A through a short stretch of fields to the UNH Campus.

From Hanover/Dartmouth:
Follow I-89 to I-93. Take Exit 15E to Route 393 East connecting to Route 4 East. Continue on Route 4 to Exit Route 155A turning right toward Durham. Follow 155A through a short stretch of fields to the UNH Campus.

From Manchester:
Take Route 101 East to Epping. Exit onto Route 125 North. Continue on Route 125 North to the Lee Traffic Circle. Follow Route 4 East to Exit Route 155A turning right toward Durham. Follow 155A through a short stretch of fields to the UNH Campus.

From Portland:
Follow I-95 South to Exit 5. Continue on Spaulding Turnpike to Exit 6W and follow Route 4 West past UNH/Durham Route 108 Exit. Exit at Route 155A and turn left toward Durham. Follow 155A through a short stretch of fields to the UNH Campus.

By Train

Amtrak train service connects UNH-Durham to Portland and Boston. The train station is adjacent to The Whittemore Center Arena. Check The Downeaster schedule by calling Amtrak at 1-800-USA-Rail or visit www.thedowneaster.com.

By Bus

Boston's Logan International Airport:

Manchester Airport:

Portsmouth Airport:
Take the Spaulding Turnpike North (Route 16 North) to exit 6 W & Follow Route 4 West past the UNH/Durham Route 108 Exit. Exit at Route 155A and turn left toward Durham. Follow 155A through a short stretch of fields to the UNH Campus.

Portland Airport:
Follow I-95 South to Exit 5. Continue on Spaulding Turnpike to Exit 6W and follow Route 4 West past UNH/Durham Route 108 Exit. Exit at Route 155A and turn left toward Durham. Follow 155A through a short stretch of fields to the UNH Campus.
