Material Characterization and Process Innovation for Material Forming (Brad Kinsey)

The Multiscale Materials Processing Laboratory (MMPL) at UNH conducts research on material forming from the macroscale to the nanoscale. The goals of these research projects include understanding the material behavior during deformation and developing manufacturing processes to exploit material characteristics. Support for this research has been provided by the National Science Foundation, local state government, and industry. For further information, please visit Brad Kinsey's webpage.

Systems and Controls

Manufacturing Systems (Barry Fussell, Robert Jerard and May-Win Thein)

The goal of this research is to further develop the Design and Manufacturing Laboratory (DML), so that relevant research topics such as the intelligent machining workstation (IMW) can be pursued. Funding for this work has been provided by the National Science Foundation, the State of New Hampshire and local industry.
