The McNair Graduate Opportunity Program is a graduate school preparation program that recognizes the need to prepare first year students for undergraduate research and exploration opportunities into graduate fields of study.
Today’s job market has become increasingly competitive thus highlighting the need for graduates to secure graduate degrees prior to leaving the university and beginning their career.
The McNair Program gives undergraduates research opportunities and introduces students to professors as well as peers currently doing research and preparing for graduate school.
As a first year student you are invited to participate in events offered by the McNair Graduate Opportunity Program.
