The Paul Holloway Business Plan Competition was established
in 1988 by Anna Grace Holloway, family and friends of Paul
Holloway to stimulate, recognize and reward students with the
entrepreneurial spirit manifested in Mr. Holloway’s career.

This competition has become an integral part of the
undergraduate and graduate experience. The competition’s
popularity makes it an important aid in the retention of students
as well as a conspicuous indication of the character and the
quality of a WSBE education. The prize fund, generously
donated by the Holloway family and friends, awards
undergraduate and graduate individual or team that prepare and
present the most feasible plan for starting, acquiring or
expanding a business venture. The rigor of the competition
prepares these students for the realities of the business world. A
reception in honor of the award recipients generates public
recognition and positive media attention to the program. The
Paul Holloway Business Plan Competition is the foundation of
 the entrepreneurship program.
