William Naumes - Profile

Bill Naumes is Associate Professor of Strategic Management at the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire. He has written ten books and many articles dealing with organizational and corporate strategy, entrepreneurship and small business management. Bill has consulted to many business and non-profit organizations. Much of his recent activities have involved dealing with entrepreneurs, new ventures and smaller businesses. He started and ran the Small Business Development Center at Clark University for five years. He received a Bachelor of Science and Masters in Business Administration from Cornell University and a Ph.D. in Business from Stanford University. He has taught at Temple University, Clark University and Skidmore College before joining the faculty at UNH. He is also active in the development of case studies to be used in the teaching of management decisions. He was the editor of the Case Research Journal, and has written over twenty cases dealing with management decision making in a variety of settings.

Bill has served in a variety of offices for the Academy of Management, Decision Sciences Institute, and the North American Case Research Association, at both the national and regional levels.

Bill has written many papers and articles dealing with organizational strategy, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility of business. He has been involved in the writing of nine books, including The Entrepreneurial Manager In The Small Business, published by Addison-Wesley.
