January 1999 to June 30, 2000: Interim Dean, The Whittemore School of Business and Economics.
As Interim Dean I led several long over due strategic initiatives. These included: fundraising; improved communications and external relations with alumni and the business community; faculty and staff development; completion (scheduled September 1, 2000) of the School=s first two high technology classrooms; innovative curriculum reform with a focus on TIE (Technology and Innovation, International, and Entrepreneurship); a new off-site part-time MBA program at Manchester, NH; established and awarded the First Distinguished Service Medal; started efforts to prepared the School for decentralized budgeting and AACSB re-accreditation.

1997: BATT-NET (Businesses Accessing technology Transfer via the Internet); $445,000 DARPA Grant; Co-Principal Investigator and Team Member. Project designed to allow small to medium sized companies access to technology housed in federal government research laboratories.
1996 - 1997: Vertical Partnering with Small to Medium Sized Suppliers via the Internet: $38,000 Grant. Project Leader. Awarded Grant by Raytheon Company to study the feasibility of small companies gaining access to Raytheon=s procurement function and request for proposals electronically via the Internet.
1996 - 1997: BIA Economic Opportunity Report. Awarded $15,000 Grant. Subcontractor to RKG Associates and BIA to assist in the research and development of an Economic Development Opportunity plan for the State.
Fall, 1996: Industrial Research Center (IRC), Market Research Study. $18,000 Grant; Project Leader. Contracted by the IRC to conduct a market study to identify prospective IRC clients.
