CI-UNH Celebrates First Anniversary with Golden Dragon Acrobats
To celebrate its first year anniversary, CI-UNH, in collaboration with UNH Celebrity series, cordially invites all CI students and CI guests to the following performance:
Golden Dragon Acrobats

Johnson Theatre, UNH
Free tickets will be handed out to all CI students and guests who wish to attend. Individual guest invitations will be sent out this week.
The Golden Dragon Acrobats have been captivating audiences with showmanship of ancient skills such as the Dancing Plates, the Diablo Yo-Yo and the Tower of Chairs. The acrobats tame gravity and fear with feats of balancing, tumbling, and startling gymnastic wizardry. The ancient art of Chinese Acrobatics is an old and long-running tradition that began in China well over two thousand years ago. Over its long and rich history, it has developed as one of the most popular art forms among the Chinese people. While many historical records provide evidence for the development of Chinese acrobatics as far back as the Xia Dynasty (4000 years ago), it is most commonly held that the art form did not become wildly popular until approximately 2,500 years ago when it began to capture the attention of the country's powerful emperors.
