COMMAND INFLUENCE: A story of Korea and the politics of injustice
This book deals with the politics of injustice during the Korean War in 1952-53. The central theme of the story involves the charges against two Air Force enlisted men and their commanding officer, Lt. George C. Schreiber. All three were charged with premeditated murder and conspiracy to commit premeditated murder. The charges carried the death penalty upon conviction or at least life in prison as a punishment.
The story is one of how and probably why the charges were brought, and the outcome of the charges resulting in life changes for all three men and important changes in the law, by both military and civilian courts and the Congress of the United States.
The author was a participant as a young Air Force JAG officer.
