Financial Aid & Support

Several kinds of financial aid are available for MAJS students. In 2007-2008, the MAJS Program awarded three graduate assistantships, which included a full tuition waiver for both the fall and spring terms, health insurance, and a stipend of $13,500. Graduate assistants are expected to work 20 hours per week during the academic year. We also employed five students, three to assist faculty with their courses and two to assist faculty with research. In order to qualify for these positions, applicants should both apply to the program and complete the FAFSA form by March 1. Financial aid decisions for graduate students are independent of parents’ income. MAJS students from non-New Hampshire New England states (MA, ME, CT, RI, VT) are eligible for the New England Regional Program for which tuition is assessed at the in-state New Hampshire rate plus 50%.

You may wish to visit the Financial Aid section of the Graduate School website for more information about the types of aid available to graduate students.
