Why study in Budapest?
The Justice Studies Budapest Program is a UNH Study Abroad Program that is designed for students who are interested in Justice Studies. Each fall, twelve UNH students under the supervision of a UNH Justice Studies faculty member will study in residence at the Corvinus University. The JSBP is structured to provide students with many opportunities to explore Budapest, Hungary and Europe. All students take 16 credits of coursework. Two courses, JUST 650 and JUST 651 will be taught by the UNH faculty member in residence. These two courses will satisfy Justice Studies Minor or Dual Major elective course requirements. Two other courses, POL 424 and ART 498 will be taught by English Speaking Hungarian faculty. Successful completion of POL 424 will satisfy Group IV and successful completion of ART 498 will satisfy Group VIII. UNH students on study abroad programs automatically satisfy Group V of the General Education requirements. Participating students pay their usual tuition, and are exempt from mandatory university fees for the semester. Spaces are limited and competitive. Interested students should contact the Justice Studies Program for an application.
