Journalism Courses at UNH

The writing courses in the journalism program form a sequence: You learn the basics in 621 Newswriting, try more storytelling techniques in 622 Advanced Newswriting, then move into feature writing and magazine writing. Other courses give you a chance to explore editing, multimedia, ethics, nonfiction as literature, and the changes shaking the media world.

Writers' work doesn't appear only on paper anymore.   Even on internships, journalism students are supplementing their stories with audio and video.  Check out this story and video done by Kaitlyn Hennigan '08 during her internship at The Telegraph in Nashua.  And here's a music story with audio.
