Tim Carpenter

Tim came to UNH as a graduate student in 2000, completing his Master of Arts in Sociology two years later. He has been on staff with IV since 2003 and works full-time with the undergraduate fellowship at UNH. Tim's ministry goal is to help raise up students who are passionate in heart and mind for God, and he is excited to grow students in evangelism and apologetics as well. When not working with InterVarsity, Tim enjoys music and loves anything having to do with the outdoors, especially backpacking in the Adirondacks of New York (Tim is originally from Poughkeepsie, New York). Tim and Jenny Carpenter (Handel) were married this summer and now both live in Durham, New Hampshire.

Jenny Carpenter

Jenny graduated from UNH in 2004 with her degree in psychology and came on staff with UNH immediately. As a student, Jenny was involved in a variety of leadership positions, and is now working with Small Group leaders and with freshman at UNH, as well as being the academic advisor to Alpha Phi, a sorority here in Durham. Jenny enjoys traveling in her spare time, as well as being outdoors in the mountains or at the beach. She grew up in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire and now lives in Durham, NH with her husband Tim.

Tom Brink

Tom Brink is the New Hampshire Area Director, overseeing all InterVarsity chapters in the state. He attended the University of Maine and then came on staff with IV after graduation. He has been working with IV in New England for over 25 years. One of Tom's great passions is for sending students out as missionaries around the world, and he regularly takes members of his church and students from New Hampshire to Honduras. He and his wife Nancy live in Lee and have four daughters. Tom is an avid hiker and racquetball player in his free time. His office is located in the Lighthouse - 10 Mill Road in Durham.

Mark Kraines

Mark Kraines hails from Rhode Island originally and worked with InterVarsity in Worcester, Massachusetts at Clark University before coming to New Hampshire. At UNH, Mark is actively involved in the lives of the student Executive Board through Bible studies and discipleship. He also works with the graduate students on-campus, encouraging them to be followers of Christ in not only their church life but in their professional vocations as well. Mark and his wife Kelley have three children and live in Rochester. Mark has taken on the role of un-official "Grill Master" at all InterVarsity events, and is an excellent cook.

Pam Drayton

Pam's ministry on campus is split mainly between the athletes and the Greek system. Hailing from New Jersey originally, Pam came to UNH, studied music, and was a star on the UNH women's basketball team, where she remains a leader in a variety of statistics. With a passion for evangelism, Pam came on staff here at UNH after her graduation and has grown the Athletes Bible Study (ABS) into an active Christian community. Pam also working in ministry with fraternities and sororities here in Durham. She lives in Barrington with her husband Matt, a former UNH football player and the Life Skills Coordinator for the athletic program.
