On Wednesday, March 1, users of the Pulse Secure VPN client will be prompted to accept an upgrade. This is a minor upgrade featuring some performance and compatibility improvements, but no usability changes. Pulse Secure VPN is an application which allows UNH students, faculty, and staff to connect to secure UNH resources while off-campus.
Computers managed by Configuration Manager will be prompted to accept this upgrade starting on Monday, February 27 before attempting to connect to the VPN...

On August 1, 2016, computers running Microsoft Windows XP will no longer be able to access the UNH Virtual Private Network (VPN). Microsoft stopped producing security patches and updates for Window XP in April 2014 (see this article for more info on Microsoft’s Windows Lifecycle: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/lifecycle).
As such, these computers pose a serious risk to the data of all who access the UNH Network, including personal data of all UNH students, faculty, and staff....
