Inspite of being a small community, ISA celebrates Diwali in a grand fashion every year in an attempt to illuminate the general public about Indian culture and traditions. A wide variety of music and dance programmes are presented to a mixed audience of students, faculty members and even people outside the university. This is topped off with a multi-course Indian dinner to make the annual Diwali celebrations one of the most awaited events at UNH.
ISA also welcomes new students by hosting 'potlucks' during the beginning of each semester. The name is slightly misleading. There is actually no 'luck' involved here as all the dishes are specially made for the occasion. We should change the name to 'Potfest'.. :-).
