Devon Thomas' Journal- 03/15/05

This was my freshman year of college. Not everything was what I expected, but not hard for me to believe.

In all, I am glad to have the opportunity to live on my own. I'm not completely dependent, but my parents definitely where not around to tell me what to do. I am also glad that I finally got the opportunity to tackle college classes. I was told they where harder than high school classes, but didn't find them to be.

Most importantly, I am glad to have met people who I have come to think of as friends. I met these people in my hall, in the organizations I've joined, classes I have attended, and in activities I have partaken in.

It has been a unique year.
