| Here
at UNH, like most other schools, we have hundreds of offices
and departments, each with a unique role in furthering the
educational mission of the University. While this network
of people and offices keeps everything running smoothly, it
can be confusing for folks from the outside to navigate. This
section is designed to help you figure out what services are
available. |

The

on all the different opportunities for academic support on
our campus.

Emergencies
& Medical
Services |
Emergency Locator Service: If you are having a family
emergency and need to find your son or daughter, you can
contact the University Police Department at 603 - 862-1427
Medical
withdrawals: If your son or daughter needs to withdraw
from school for any length of time due to medical or mental
health reasons, please contact Health Services at (603)
862-2173.
Short
Leaves: At times students will need to miss classes
due to short term illnesses or family emergencies. Health
Services at 603-862-2173 will write a letter notifying professors
of the circumstances. This letter does not act as an official
excuse but is done as a courtesy for the student, and we
highly recommend that the student contact professors personally
to coordinate making up any missed assignments or exams.
