Getting your child to UNH is only half the battle--now you need to figure out ways to stay connected. While there are thousands of different ways to do that, here are just a few suggestions.
Packages

Every student loves to get personal mail and care packages from home. Each student will be assigned a mailbox in the MUB called their Granite Square Station Box. All US mail, UPS, or other couriers should be addressed there. You should address mail as follows:

Residents of the Gables, Woodside Apartments, Forest Park Apartments, and Babcock Hall receive their mail in their respective locations. For more information about mail service, call (603) 862-MAIL.

“First, take advantage of all the information available from UNH. We signed up to be on the email list from Molly's Hall Director [more information about signing up] and that monthly glimpse into life in the halls was very valuable.

Secondly, I recommend a mini family vacation near UNH. At one point in the semester when my daughter was feeling a little down, I made reservations at a hotel near the beach and we had a little family get-a-way. It was only 30 minutes from campus, but it gave her the break she needed and helped us to stay connected.”
