ADVANCE Program Organization
UNH's ADVANCE program goals are overseen by a collaboration of faculty, staff, and administrators. The ADVANCE Leadership Team oversees the larger program initiatives.
Working groups have been developed to focus on planning and implementing the initiatives of Awards and Fellowships, and Professional Development. An Evaluation and Assessment working group has been assigned the task of determining the effectiveness of these initiatives and evaluating data and results from a faculty climate survey.
An advisory board made up of internal and external members advises UNH's program. President Mark Huddleston is the Principal investigator of UNH's ADVANCE PAID program which is housed within the Joan and James Leitzel Center for Mathematics, Science and Engineering Education. Dr. Karen Graham serves as the Chair of the Leadership Team and Dr. Ruth Varner is the program director.
