Moses Nii-Dortey

Moses Nii-Dortey is a Research Fellow with the Institute of African Studies at the University of Ghana, Legon. His responsibilities include teaching and research, as well as a seminar coordinator and liaison for the Trent-in-Ghana Programme, a joint international programme with Trent University in Peterborough, Canada. His research focuses on music, ritual and drama in West Africa, the music and literary analysis of African folk opera, and the history and development of western orchestral music in Ghana. In 2009, he was a visiting scholar at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
