Forensics

The field of forensics—the use of science to collect, preserve, or analyze evidence—has become increasingly important within the field of justice studies. The forensics minor provides students with the opportunity to explore the different components of forensics through the interdisciplinary study of biology, psychology, sociology, and justice studies. The minor will enhance future academic and professional goals while giving formal recognition for expertise in forensics. The minor is a natural complement to the justice studies major, but would also benefit students in related fields such as political science, psychology, sociology, and anthropology.
