Instructions for Normal Work Hours Sheet

Steps in Red (1-5) are data enterable. Steps in black (6-7) are not data enterable.

[1] Normal Work Week Hours Enter the numbers of hours you normally work each day.
[2] Waiver of Overtime Wages If you have filled out a "Waiver of Overtime Wages", then check this box.
[3] First Accrual Rate Enter your accrual rate as determined from Step 6. NOTE: The rate earned per hour is not pro-rated for less than 100% appointments. Example:
100% appointment = .092 per hour accrual rate
60% appointment = .092 per hour accrual rate
[4] New Accrual Rate begin date If you begin earning at a different accrual rate, then enter the date the new rate is effective. If the new rate is effective at other than the beginning of the pay period, then an adjustment will be required. (This would go in the "MIMIMUM USAGE AND OTHER ADJUSTMENTS" cell, on the Entry Period Sheet).
[5] New Accrual Rate Enter your second accrual rate as determined from Step 6.
[6] Accrual Rate information Use this information and the associated web page to calculate your accrual rate used in Step 3 and Step 5 (if necessary)
[7] Payperiod numbers and end dates. Listing of the Payperiod numbers and end dates for the current fiscal year.
