Its employees may be entitled to discounts on the purchase of goods and services used in University business, such as supplies, hotel rooms, rental cars, etc. When making arrangements for travel or purchasing goods or services for University business, employees should ask vendors or USNH Purchasing and Contract Services (2-6187) about the availability of discounts for employees of nonprofit educational organizations. USNH Purchasing and Contract Services should be contacted for copies of state exemption certificates if required for proof of eligibility of state exemption. The Controller's Office (2-1620) should be contacted for a copy of our federal IRS Determination Letter.

  • UNH BIOFEEDBACK FOR STRESS MANAGEMENT

    Health Services provides FREE biofeedback for stress management and relaxation. Biofeedback technology uses electronic equipment to measure and monitor changes in one’s internal physiological state while teaching breathing, relaxation and meditation exercises.   • UNH COMPUTER STORE

    is UNH-owned and part of UNH IT. We sell to the university community, which includes university departments, and individual staff, faculty and students for their home and/or campus needs. 

    We negotiate vendor contracts in order to offer our customers excellent educational discounts. We're a one-stop shop which means that in addition to Dell and Apple computers, we sell printers, software (at exceptionally low academic pricing), mice, keyboards, iPods, iPads, USB back-up and thumb drives, laptop bags, memory card readers, laptop locks, surge suppressors, speakers and headphones, handheld presenters, and many other popular technology products. 

    UNH IT’S Computer Service Center (CSC) is co-located with our Store in the MUB, across from the student mailboxes on the 2nd floor. The CSC provides authorized warranty service for all the Dell and Apple computers that we sell, and they can arrange for loaners if a Dell or Apple computer we sold requires a lengthy repair. They will set up your new computer with campus-specific software in the Pre-Delivery Network Configuration service they provide for a fee of only $26.

  • UNH CONFIDENTIAL HIV COUNSELING AND TESTING

    Health Services provides confidential HIV testing and counseling to the UNH community. Get results in 20 minutes. $23 per test. No appointment needed.   • UNH LIBRARY

    With a UNH ID, faculty and staff are eligible to borrow materials including books, videos, DVDs, books on tape and to access electronic books, journals and databases from on and off campus. The UNH Library, (the main Dimond Library and the four science branch libraries) is an integral part of the educational and research activities of the students, faculty and staff of the University. Dimond Library was expanded and renovated in 1998 and offers three grand reading rooms, seating for 1,200, computer workstations on every floor, 210 laptop connections throughout the building, 21 miles of shelving for books and other print materials, and a variety of other library services including remote access to electronic resources. Dimond Library also houses an extensive government documents collection, the Douglas and Helena Milne Special Collections and Archives and the University Museum.   • UNH LIGHT THERAPY

    Health Services offers light therapy lamps for the treatment of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). SAD is a pattern of seasonal depression, occurring every year in the early months of winter and lasting until spring. Light therapy lamps are available for students, faculty and staff, 7 days a week, for free. Daily appointments are recommended, preferably in the morning. Session lengths range from 15 minutes to 2 hours, with most sessions usually lasting 20-30 minutes. To make an appointment for light therapy, please call (603) 862-3823.
