As a Senior Staff Photographer for the University, Ron Bergeron has covered a myriad of photographic assignments. Through his lens, Ron has documented a wide variety of campus and research activities over the last thirty years. His involvement in the visual history of UNH has not been limited to the production of images, but has also included photographic preservation. He has been responsible for organizing and archiving many collections of early images of the University. In fact, he has co-authored a visual history entitled Images of a University (1984).

Ron's involvement in photographic preservation projects extends beyond the University to many New Hampshire communities. His publications also include The Lakes Region of New Hampshire (1989) and The White Mountains of New Hampshire (1989). He has served as a consultant to New Hampshire historical societies and civic groups.

Underlying Ron's efforts to preserve the heritage of UNH may be, in part, his affinity for the people who compose the community he has been a part of for the past thirty years.
