SERC C is home to the Common Purposes theme floor. Common Purposes is a theme floor open to anyone who wants to learn about and live with lots of different people from diverse backgrounds.

History
- Opened in August 2008.
- SERC is an acronym for Southeast Residential Community. Built as part of the Campus Master Plan to increase on-campus housing opportunities with suite-style and apartment housing.
