Staying in the Same Residence Hall?arrow

To participate in the In-Hall process, you must be able to check yes to all of the following:


I've completed my online housing reapplication between Tuesday, February 11 and Wednesday, Feb 19 at 5:00pm. I've chosenIn-Hall on the selection pull-down menu (or chosen it as a back-up plan)


I've paid my housing deposit or visited Housing to obtain a delay of payment by Feb 19, 2014 at 5:00pm.


I've read about the online sign-up and marked my calendar to select my room during the online In-Hall Room Sign-Up Process on Feb 26.


If you want to stay in your same hall, on Feb 26 you will partipate in the on-line in-hall room selection process. In a nutshell you will create a group (could be a group of 1 if you are going for a single, or perhaps a group of two or three if you are looking for a double or triple room with friends). On Feb 21st the group captain will be able to view rooms that will be available during the online in-hall process. It is good to note that the sign-up time will vary based on which pool/hall you are signing up in, because the sign-up time is based on the priority point held by that hall's resident.

Then on the sign-up date and time, the group captain will enter the sign-up pool for the hall they want and choose from whatever spaces are available. Here's a short demo on how it will work
