Why did you choose to become a Hall Director?
The love for what I do, ignited from serving others and helping people find their passions during my undergraduate years. As a result, I found that I could do the same work as a hall director, as well as, help cultivate a community that values inclusivity, kindness, and fun.
Why did you choose to work for Res Life at the University of New Hampshire?
I wanted to work for a place where I can learn from the people and be inspired. The staff is ridiculously nice and kind hearted. Each person is unique and talented in his or her own way. They do amazing work and I wanted to be a part of community that is constantly looking to be better and do better.
What advice would you give to students?
Embrace you. Be yourself, college is a time to learn about who you are and who you want to become. Allow yourself to learn from your mistakes, but also lean into the awkward moments. I promise it will be fun and challenging, but all worth it in the end. Also, question things and be curious.
