To make moving in as smooth as possible, please follow the directions below to your residence hall. Student staff will help you move in and University Police will direct you to parking. To avoid waiting on line, schedule your arrival close to noon. Campus map link: www.unh.edu/map. Here are directions to the UNH Campus.
Stoke (Area 1 - The Hills) - Follow Route 4 until you come to the traffic light at Madbury Road. You will see signs there, directing you to Area I. Proceed on Madbury Road to Garrison Avenue. Turn right onto Garrison. You will see signs for Area I, and University Police will direct you to your hall.
McLaughlin, Lord, or Congreve (Area 1- The Hills) - Follow Route 4 until you come to the traffic light at Madbury Road. You will see signs there, directing you to Area I. Proceed on Madbury Road to the first stop sign (Edgewood) and turn right. Follow this road past the outdoor pool on the right and park in the parking lot on the right.
Sawyer, Smith, Jessie Doe, or Scott (Area 1 - The Hills) - Follow Route 4 until you come to Exit 108. At the bottom of the ramp, turn toward Durham. You will pass several gas stations and come to a traffic light. Bear right. Bear right again at the Durham Post Office onto Madbury Road. Shift immediately into the left lane. You will come to another merge. Go left onto Pettee Brook Lane. Get in the right lane until you merge right onto Main Street. Turn right onto Garrison Avenue. You will be guided by an officer to the next left into the road leading between the residence halls and toward yours.
Adams Tower West (Area 1 - The Hills) -
Alexander, Fairchild, Hetzel, Mills (Area 2 - The Valley) - Follow Route 4 until you come to Exit 108. At the bottom of the ramp, turn toward Durham. You will pass several gas stations and come to a traffic light. Bear right. Bear right again at the Durham Post Office onto Madbury Road. Shift immediately into the left lane. You will come to another merge. Go to the left onto Pettee Brook Lane. Stay in the left lane until you merge with Main Street. On Main Street, merge immediately to the right. Just beyond the row of residence halls, bear right again onto Mill Road. Alexander, Fairchild, and Hetzel, and Mills residents will be directed to parking at this point.
Devine, Engelhardt, Gibbs, Hunter, Hitchcock, and Randall (Area 2 - The Valley) - Follow Route 4 until you come to Exit 108. At the bottom of the ramp, turn toward Durham. You will pass several gas stations and come to a traffic light. Bear right. Bear right again at the Durham Post Office onto Madbury Road. Shift immediately into the left lane. You will come to another merge. Go to the left onto Pettee Brook Lane. Stay in the left lane until you merge with Main Street. On Main Street, merge immediately to the right. Just beyond the row of residence halls, bear right again onto Mill Road. past six houses to Academic Way. Turn right onto Academic Way There will be signs and University Police directing you to the halls.
Christensen, Williamson, or Hubbard (Area 3 - The Timbers) - Follow Route 4 until you come to the 155A exit (University of New Hampshire). At the end of the ramp, turn toward Durham, You will drive past some buildings and fields and up over a hill past the field house. At the bottom of the hill, there is a traffic light. Turn right at the light. You are now on College Road/McDaniel Drive.. Follow the road until you see Service Drive on your right. Don’t turn right. You will see a sign on your left and an officer pointing you to what is a sidewalk which eventually turns into a road. Follow this road (Academic Way) straight down until you come to B- Lot where cars will be staged to enter Hubbard, Williamson. Hall staff and police will assist you at the staging area as you wait to get directed to the specific hall.
SERC A, SERC B, SERC C or the Mini-Dorms (Area 3 - The Timbers) - Follow Route 4 until you come to the 155A exit (University of New Hampshire). At the end of the ramp, turn toward Durham. You will drive past some buildings and fields and up over a hill. At the traffic light at the bottom of the hill, turn right. Turn right onto Library Way and go under the overpass. Immediately turn left (you are now on Colovos Road) and follow the signs and other cars. Cars will be staged in a line for their hall as you get closer to the buildings.
