Welcome to UNH family Housing
Forest Park is a thriving community of undergraduate and graduate students and scholars. Married students and scholars and those with dependant children are giving higher priority than single individuals. Students have higher priority than staff or faculty. Our current population hail from over 18 different countries. Residents of Forest Park live within walking distance of all UNH academic and administrative buildings. This 97 unit complex is within walking distance of downtown businesses, banks and a supermarket.
The complex has 18 studio, 47 one and 32 two bedroom apartments for rent. There is an on-site laundry room, community center as well as several recreational areas for children and adults.
Rents for Forest Park include all utilities (heat, hot water, electricity, cable TV and high speed internet access). Residents who wish to have a land line phone may pay for that separately through the local phone company. In addition, one parking space is reserved at the complex for those with cars.
Activities such as barbecues, community dinners, and local trips are organized and coordinated by the Tenants’ Committee. The Tenants’ Committee meets twice per month to plan social events and make recommendations about policy to the Housing Office.
