Jamie Ritzo, REAP 2013

Jamie Ritzo, REAP 2013

Jamieis from Rye, NH, and plans to double major in Philosophy and English. She is an improviser in UNH's Improv Anonymous comedy troupe, has acted in several Mask & Dagger Dramatic Society productions, and works at a local produce farm. She currently plans to pursue a career in writing.

Her REAP project will structure the summer around conducting interviews with UNH Philosophy Department faculty members that will be published on the department web pages. These interviews are intended to provide personal and intellectual histories of our professors; the questions would include a bit of biography, a bit of "how did you come to philosophy," discussions of why they find inspiration in certain philosophers but not others, attempts to define philosophy, the publications of which they are most proud, and where they think the future of philosophy may be headed.
