Student Advisory Board
Our Student Advisory Board provides our program with a student’s perspective and input about the program. The members serve as a forum in which students can express and exchange concerns and ideas for improvement. The members of the board also help plan and implement opportunities and activities for all members of the University Honors Program.
The Student Advisory Board has played a pivotal role in the University Honors Community as they have helped in the planning of a number of student run and UHP run programs and activities. Over the past years the students have helped design, develop, and implement a Mentor Program, held several “Professor Luncheons” in Holloway Commons, hosted discussions in the MUB, and held a CEPS college mixer. They are also credited with planning the annual Holiday Party held in Hubbard Hall each December. The Student Advisory Board has grown immensely over the years, and their involvement in the program has helped strengthen the honors community.
