Examples:
This example contains several things that should make you suspicious. First, it's from someone at a different url (account_supportteam@mail2webmaster.com). All emails from UNH would be from our domain (@unh.edu). Secondly, it is asking for private information via E-mail; in the case, your username and password and date of birth. Lastly, it gives a quick deadline; intending to urge someone to respond quickly before they realize they have fallen victim to E-mail Phishing.
