What Are Your E-Mail Account Options?

There are 3 ways to access your e-mail account.

  • Webmail
    Webmail is a program that you use though the web using a web browser, Netscape or Internet Explorer. This is a graphical program that you can access from anywhere that has a Internet connection. Go to http://blackboard.unh.edu.

  • Use an e-mail program like Eudora or Outlook
    Your CIS Unix e-mail can be accessed though a POP3 e-mail client like Outlook and Eudora.

  • Telnet to CIS Unix
    You can log directly on to CIS Unix with your login name and password using a program called telnet. This program comes with Windows Computers and is available for free for Macs. Once you are connected you can access your e-mail using a text only program called Pine.
